Refund policy
Returns and Refunds
These provisions apply in the event that you return any Goods to us for any reason :
11.1. We do not accept returns unless there was a defect in the Goods at the time of purchase, or we have agreed in correspondence that you may return them.
11.2. Before you return the Goods to us, please carefully re-read the instructions and check that you have assembled it correctly and complied with any provisions relating to the power supply, plugs and sockets.
11.3. The Goods must be returned to us as soon as any defect is discovered but not later than 7 days.
11.4. So far as possible, Goods should be returned:
11.4.1 with both Goods and all packaging as far as possible in their original condition;
11.4.2 securely wrapped;
11.4.3 including our delivery slip;
11.4.4 first exchange is on us thereafter it is for your account
11.5. If you wish to return items please go to our Home Page and select "Help" and then "Return Items" to log a request to return your items.
11.6. In returning faulty Goods please encloses with it a note clearly stating the fault and when it arises or arose.
11.7. Most of the Goods are covered by the manufacturer's guarantee for a minimum of [12] months. Please first check the plug, fuse, batteries and the manufacturer's operating instructions.
11.8. If we agree that the Goods are faulty, we will:
11.8.1 repair or replace the Goods as we choose.
Order reimbursement (Refunds/Store Credits) :
11.9 All returns are subject to inspection and approval once received by EMD Online. Refunds or store credit will only be processed after the item has been returned, inspected, and approved as resalable.
11.10 Store credit is the default method of reimbursement for approved returns
11.10.1 Store credit is issued for the value of the returned item (excluding shipping).
11.10.2 Store credit is valid for future purchases and is non-transferable
11.10.3 If a customer prefers a monetary refund, this must be specifically requested in writing and is subject to approval.
11.11 Refunds must be formally request from the sales team to receive the refund form link
11.11.1 The refund form is not publicly accessible
11.11.2 Refunds are subject to approval
11.11.3 All refunds are done on Mondays only
11.11.4 A refund, if approved, will only be processed after the goods have been received, inspected and approved that we will take them back
11.12 Shipping costs :
11.12.1 Shipping costs are non-refundable once an order has been dispatched. Courier fees are already incurred once the parcel leaves our premises.
11.12.2 Courier fees for orders not yet dispatched, still unfulfilled, will be refunded/store credited in the event the client cancels the order or
11.12.2.1 EMD Online was unable to supply the items ordered.
11.13 Returns requested after the 7-day return window :
11.13.1 Do not qualify for a refund
11.13.2 May be accepted at EMD Online's discretion
11.13.3 Will be compensated by store credit only, if the return has been accepted
11.14 The following items are not eligible for returns unless defective
11.14.1 Special order or non-stock items
11.14.2 Clearance or discounted items (Where stated at the time of purchase)
11.14.3 Electrical components once installed
EMD Online reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds that do not comply with this policy.
